• Extensive experience in the identification, classification, and protection of cross-connections on potable water system.

• Knowledge of site-inspections at the existing buildings/facilities to validate their Cross Connection Control Survey Reports submitted by the Qualified Persons.

• Carried out spot-check for water cross connections existing in the buildings/facilities but not identified on their Survey Reports as well as for the annual testing of their back-flow preventer.

• Working knowledge of a Municipal water system and water service components;  Water supply, heating, cooling and fire systems inside buildings; Inspection, testing, repair.

• Responsible for new installation and repair of plumbing pipes and fixtures.

• Main projects consist of commercial facilities such as malls and hospitals.

• Customer service technician, responsible for meeting the needs of my customers by providing them with prompt and efficient service.

• Conduct site-visits to provide assistance to customers (i.e. Qualified Persons or property owners) in solving their back-flow prevention technical challenges in timely and responsive manner as needed.

• Coordinated with the City of Toronto Building Department to ensure that new installation of back-flow preventer have a Building Permit and those new installations have been inspected by the City’s plumbing inspectors. 

• Recorded site-inspection/site-visit reports & notes in the City’s database in support of Court appearances for by-law infractions prosecution.

• Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills.

• Working knowledge of (is an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software solutions product produced by IBM.It is a solution which enterprises use to track operation, maintenance and disposal of assets.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word, Email etc) along with Open Office Software

• Efficient in solving problems and decision making

• Able to handle responsibilities, and adapt well to change in work environment and workload.

• Possession of a valid Ontario Class "G" Driver's License and access to a properly insured vehicle.

• Currently in the process of enrolling in Gasfitter 1 course.
